My name is Maria. I am a licensed cosmetologist and freelance makeup artist specializing in bridal hairstyling and an effortless makeup look. I am out of Livingston County, MI but I will travel to you on your big day! Makeup can be powerful and the last thing you want on your wedding day is to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself. I believe you should look like an enhanced version of yourself on one of the best days of your life!

 

I knew I wanted to do hair since I was 7 years old. Growing up, I would watch my aunt, who is a stylist as well, do my moms' hair. I began doing up-do's for friends at school when I was 15, around the time I started getting into makeup. I have always loved to try new techniques and different styles. I would see pictures of makeup and hair in magazines and try them out on myself and my friends. Enhancing a persons' natural beauty is something I have always loved to do. I love to make people feel beautiful!

A little more personal: I am married to a pretty great guy. I have a really cool kid who is in the Army. I have the best dog you could ask for, a toy poodle who is blind in one eye and a slightly cross-eyed, blue-eyed beauty of a cat. I love sunflowers. I love coffee and wine. I love to sew (and even have a Facebook page with lots of cute items to purchase). I love working out. I love to travel and explore hidden gems. I love taking pictures. I love to hang out with friends and family. My favorite color is blue. I always, always get a picture in the alley in downtown Howell because it is my favorite place in Livingston County.
